Thanks for the positive feedback on my blog. For all of u who sent me emails i would like to recomend this book called "Mayada, Daughter of Iraq" by Jean sasson. I'd like to thank sonya and shibani for introducing me to this book. It is a real eye-opener. Enjoy!

I have read Mayada, and quite frankly it got draggy and repetitive half -way through. A book thats much better, which is based on a similar story line is "Princess", also by Jean Sasson - now that's brilliant.

heyy!!..sorry this comment is coming in a bit late..ok fine..VERY late..still..forgive me..actully i have a brilliant reason why im posting this so late..umm..o yea..you see...i haven't really heard of Jean Sasson..so i was kinda stumped on wht to write..umm.hehe... :P
but i have got to hand it to you..your previous blog was amazing...really good way to begin your blog..and screw if you made some mistakes...i mean..even if we consider your blog to be a newspaper..den it should also be taken into consideration the fact that you'll have an editor to take care of your grammatical errors..so don worry about that..just keep the good [and very thoughtful] ideas coming!! :D

i luv mayada, princess, daughters of arabia and desert royal - all awesome books by jean sasson!! in fact i luv jean sasson... she's one person who's opening the eyes of many ppl who don't realize whats happening in the middle-east, she's like a voice for many ppl.... i luv her books!
